Audi brought forth the R8 as a competitor for the Lamborghini Gallardo, so wouldn’t it be appropriate for the Aventador LP700-4 to get its own rival? Bembli Design, a student at the Transportation Design (with Audi and Lamborghini) at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy surely thinks so as he has gone back to the drawing board with his original R10 rendering and given it a little facelift for the occasion.

When Bembli first designed the R10, his vision was for it to be the next Audi supercar and placed above the current R8 in Audi’s line-up. It is a supercar that weighs about 2,645 lbs and was designed to be powered by a V10 engine. Bembli didn’t mention anything about a possible output, but while theR8 V10 delivers a total of 525 HP, we imagine the R10 will reach up to about 600 HP. Add in the proposed intense use of carbon fiber and the R10 should be able to hit up to about 210 mph.

Audi hasn’t bitten yet, but this facelift may just be the ticket to get their attention.

I have to agreed with Dwight Steven the frond seems to huge even its exhaust, it is kinda confusing but I must say that this one will surely be an eye catcher! The reason is so obvious smiley

Its a good thing that they haven’t follow the traditional way of rendering!hmm. The horsepower is great. It makes me wonder on how this car will perform in the road and are they its going to have a speed limit?

Is that the official image? It really looks so huge on the front. The detailing was great and I wonder on what will be the figure performance of this car using the v10 technology?

hmm. It seems that there are a lot of future cars of Audi that awaits for the debut sometime in the future! I don’t want to speculate about this car . I think I been needing to wait for the released and see on how this car will perform.

Last time he designed a really cool design, this R10 looks crazy fast. I hope it gets into production soon.

For a concept, this one actually feels rather feasible. Good thing that he didn’t go into those fancy redesigns that some designers are really fond of.

Overall, the design actually looks good. I like how everything flows out very smoothly. And those big wheels are certainly lookers.

Well, since this one is just a concept, so we really don’t know how much of it would actually get into the car.. But I do wish some of these would really turn out in the production cars.

@rado_guissepe, this is the facelift version of the R8. And the future competitor of the Aventador. I can’t wait for its future production. However, I think its so much late for this version because the Aventador LP700-4 has already debuted.

You’re right, the front end is really the kicker for this one. I like the fact that he incorporated the headlights to the design of the front grille.

This one actually looks good for me. Even that huge grille really fits in well with the overall design. He just needs to work on some of the lines to make them look cleaner.

It does look good, but I really don’t like the way that he did the front, looks more like the Audi A8 to me. His first take is actually much better.
