Shortly after making its debut in Japan, the Mini Brick Lane Edition has now arrived in the United States. Offered solely in Cooper S trim in three- or five-door configurations, these special edition models are inspired by London’s famous Brick Lane.
Brick Lane is known for its street art and is located at the heart of the East End. Inspired by the urban backdrop of Brick Lane, the Mini Brick Lane Edition’s Frozen Blue, Mint, and Soul Blue graphics aim to capture the vibe of its streets that are predominantly made out of bricks.
Contrasting these blue elements is its White Silver Metallic paint and is paired with a Soul Blue roof that comes with a panoramic moonroof. In addition, the Mini Brick Lane Edition features black mirror caps, side scuttle inlays, C-pillar decals, and 17-inch Tentacle Spoke Black wheels with Brick Lane center caps.
Just like the exterior, the interior aims to capture the vibe of Brick Lane. Though no photos were provided, this special edition Mini’s interior comes with Carbon Black Cross Punch leather upholstery, Nappa Leather steering, piano black trims, and anthracite headliner.
Matching the car’s limited edition nature is a plethora of standard equipment, ranging from a Harman/Kardon sound system, dual-zone climate control, Touchscreen Navigation Plus, heads-up display, concierge service, Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and a Dynamic Digital Instrument Cluster.
As this is based on the Mini Cooper S, its powertrain is a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder that produces 189 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. This drives the front wheels via a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The Mini Brick Lane Edition can be yours for $35,675 for the three-door version and $36,675 for the five-door version. These prices do not include the $850 destination fee. Expect these special edition Minis to arrive at the U.S. dealerships by mid-March 2022.
