Alfa Romeo currently has just two products in its portfolio and it desperately needs new products to sustain itself comfortably. Enter: The Tonale. The Tonale concept was showcased at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and roughly three years later, it seems like the production version is ready. Alfa Romeo is yet to debut the compact SUV, but it has been spied testing in the snow; this time, with lesser clothing.

The Tonale will be based on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade. The compact SUV has been spied only with the wraps on so far, but it does look sharp. Fortunately, a lot of elements from the concept seem to have been retained. It goes unsaid that the Tonale will have a lot of design cues from the Stelvio as well. Some production-spec details can also be seen here vis-à-vis the concept, like bigger lights, standard wing mirrors instead of cameras, and regular door handles.

The Tonale is expected to debut in February and could go on sale from July.
