The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has yet to enter mass production, and yet photos of the 70th Anniversary Edition model have reportedly surfaced online.

These photos come courtesy of CorvetteBlogger, with Jeremy being the main source of the photos. The photos reportedly first appeared in the Z06's online configurator, which has since been taken down already.

The Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will supposedly be offered in White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat with optional Satin Matrix Gray Stripes, or Carbon Flash Metallic with optional Satin Black Metallic Stripes. You also better like red because it'll also come with various Edge Red highlights on the Carbon Flash wheels, brake calipers, and engine cover.

Moving inside, the Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will come with more red details, along with GT2 Competition seats, suede steering wheel, and various 70th Anniversary badges across the interior. Complementing the aesthetic upgrades is the special luggage set with red details and 70th Anniversary logos.

As for performance, the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will still be powered by the new LT6 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine that puts out 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. The engine features a flat-plane crank, a first for the Corvette, and along with its high-revving nature, it also gets a distinct engine note that's similar to Ferraris like the 458 Italia.

But more importantly, the Z06 70th Anniversary Edition will be fitted with a Z07 Performance Package, which adds larger brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and the FE7 Magnetic Ride Suspension, which should offer enhanced handling right out of the factory. Past Corvette Z06 anniversary models did not come with added mechanical upgrades, so this will most likely be the case with this model.

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is scheduled to enter production on May 9, and we expect more details to be revealed as its production date draws nearer.
