The Kia Telluride facelift has been testing for quite some time. It was spotted now once again, and for some reason, it is still heavily camouflaged. Either the testing is going pretty darn slow, or we can expect many changes. Or, the third unlikely option – Kia got lazy with it. Anyway, it has now been spotted testing in Northern Sweden, and here’s what seems to be new this time around.

Up front, you can see new headlights. Well, headlights with new DRL designs, precisely. Instead of the rectangular design, you now get two vertical strips that seem to be sitting below the main headlights. The grille will be reshaped, but will have the same honeycomb design as the current model. The bumper will also be redesigned.

The side profile is also heavily covered, but we won’t hold our breath on anything major happening here considering it’s not a new-gen model. We have heard about the SUV being offered with a rugged off-road trim. Perhaps, the heavy skin on the sides could be to hide the black cladding and stuff. New wheels designs are almost a given.

We don’t see a lot of changes at the rear, but there will most certainly be a new set of taillights that aren’t installed yet. This prototype seemed to have the same taillights as the existing model. The exhaust tips might be the same, but the bumper – that’s not visible here – could be redesigned.

There are no shots of the interior, but it wouldn’t be out of the scope to assume that the dash will be redesigned. It could be inspired by the new Sportage, for all we know. We expect the same engine options to be retained and don’t see Kia giving them a power bump either.

The refreshed Kia Telluride is expected to be unveiled later this year as a 2023 model year. Check out the gallery below and let us know what you think about the upcoming Kia Telluride and what you expect from it.
