Porsche started to test the facelift version of the Cayenne in early 2022. Our spy photographers brought you spy shots of both the standard and the Coupe version, but today we have something a little bit more special.

Firstly, Porsche moved from the cold weather of Scandinavia to Nürburgring. And secondly, this time the engineers were testing the Cayenne Turbo.

So, how do we know this is no ordinary Cayenne? The first clue was, of course, the exhaust system. While the prototypes caught testing so far were wearing dual exhaust pipes, the new prototype featured quad-exhaust pipes. Also, it sits on bigger wheels and features bigger brake pads.

As for the updates, the facelift Cayenne will come with slimmer headlights, a revised engine hood, and redesigned front bumpers. At the rear, the bumper is also redesigned, and the taillights and the brake lights are now wider and run the entire width.

The interior will also offer a few changes, and will most likely be inspired by the new Porsche 911. There should be a new design for the center console and the gear changer, while the dash will get fully digital dials. There will also be a new sat-nav/infotainment screen.

Porsche will most likely offer some small tweaks under the hood, too, even though all the engines will be carried over. This means the Turbo version will be offered with the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine that delivers 541 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque.

Expect the facelift Cayenne to be revealed before the end of 2022.
