The 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Looks Stunning With Alfa Romeo’s Latest Front-End Design
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm looks surprisingly good with the Tonale’s front end, giving us an insight into the future Alfa Romeo designsby Dim Angelov, on LISTEN 02:28
For all its ups and downs, Alfa Romeo is currently making some very good cars. The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio proved that Alfa can still make great, engaging cars, and the recently unveiled Tonale aims to solidify the brand’s revival by “attacking” one of the most competitive segments. But, what does this have to do with the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm? A rendering done by Andres Veres, on Instagram, shows the next Giulia GTAm with the front end of the Tonale, and here’s why we may actually see it, in reality.
Given the current trends in the automotive industry, it is quite possible that the upcoming Alfa Romeo models will feature the Tonale’s front-end design. The new slimmer headlight design and almost shark-nose design of the front harken back to the 1960 and 1970s. A while back, Alfa Romeo announced it will give us a new model every year until 2026, and aims to go fully electric by 2027, with the first Alfa Romeo EV, coming in 2024.
As for the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm’s rendering, it’s pretty much the current one, but with the Tonale’s front fascia. The lower fascia still features the GTAm’s front apron with carbon-fiber air intakes, splitter, and canards. As for Giulia’s future, we have been hearing a lot of different chatter. We know Giulia is getting a mid-cycle refresh for 2022.
This contradicts another report, made by CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato, according to which Giulia and Stelvio will be replaced by new models, based on the “STLA large” architecture.
If nothing else, this means that Alfa Romeo’s lineup will still have a place for a performance sedan, even if it is no longer called the Giulia. Moreover, Alfa Romeo is still going to give us internal combustion-powered models, for a few more years. Should a 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm (or anything like it) come out, we expect more power than the current Giulia GTAm’s 532 horsepower and 442 pound-feet (600 Nm). Alfa is in a good place right now and we hope the Italian brand does not disappoint.
