XK8 to join current Jaguar line up.

It started as a concept car, and the XK8 will be joining the Jaguar line up for late 2007/2008.

The All new Jaguar XK8 to be seen at a dealer near you soon.

It first appeared as a concept car at the Detroit Motor Show, where it was given some rave reviews, so the people at the Jaguar Motor company must have been clearly listening as they now intend to include the XK8 into their range of models for next year 2007.

The car is of the in the shape of the Jaguar sports car that we have all grown to know and love, yet there are a few subtle refinements that make all of the difference when looking to purchase your next thoroughbred road machine. For instance the body and chassis is going to be made from aluminium, which has been bonded and riveted for strength and lightness, this makes the overall weight of the car lighter and therefore changes the feel of the car, both in driving and handling.

Powered by the classic Jaguar V8, and a supercharged version of the Jaguar V8 engine there are a few options available even to please the most avid Jaguar driver, who has bought into this culture since its conception, however it is possible that the new XK8 may be gaining a few more fans from rival car makers such as Porsche and other sports car makers.
