Back in 2007, Volkswagen engineers turned the Mk.5 Golf into a mid-engined hatchback with 641 horsepower

Hennessey Vows to Build More Bespoke Cars But Nothing As Extreme As the Venom F5
During the Venom F5’s reveal at the Amelia Island Concours CEO John Hennessey said that the Venom F5 will be the most extreme car the company ever creates.
Hennessey said the biggest issue is scaling production
So the company has reached out to companies like GM to get some fresh insight, but it’ll definitely be a while before we see another bespoke car from Hennessey.
VAG Declines to Sell Lamborghini
Following news of a seemingly unbelievable offer to sell Lamborghini for more than $9 billion, the company spoke out to Reuters about its position
An Audi (the company that controls Lamborghini) spokesperson has reportedly said bluntly that “Lamborghini is not for sale!”
Whether or not that holds water or if a future deal could be in the works remains to be seen.
