You probably haven't heard much about Eadon Green, but this small British carmaker just brought three cool-looking vehicles to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Although they are based on existing production cars like the Chevrolet Corvette, they feature retro-styled bodies that remind of the gorgeous aero coupes of the 1930s.

The Eadon Green ZRR is Vintage yet modern

The ZRR has very little in common with the Rolls-Royce Wraith it's based on. A close inspection reveals that Eadon Green kept the headlamps and some of the front bumper up front, but beyond that, it's a unique design. The ZRR is actually very similar to other cars that Eadon Green built in the last two years. The Zeclat for instance, which is based on the Chevrolet Corvette C7, has a similar front fascia with a tall grille and vintage-style tall fenders integrated into the body.

The key difference here are the headlamps. While the ZRR features the Wraith's front lights, the Zeclat has round headlamps. The ZRR also retains the Wraith's engine hood and windshield frame and, more notably, Rolls-Royce's trademark habit of painting them in a different color compared to the body. Another big difference is noticeable around the sides, where the ZRR features the Rolls-Royce Wraith's reverse-hinged door. It also borrows the door handles and the side mirrors from the luxury coupe. By contrast, the Zeclat sports conventional doors. The ZRR reverse-hinged door is by no means an out-of-context addition because many vehicles from the 1930s had a similar design.

The ZRR's rear fascia is downright spectacular thanks to its sloping, low-slung fenders that descend to form a sharp rear end with the fascia. The roof also descends in a similar fashion toward the back, while the long taillights remind me of cars from the 1930's that had small, round red lights attached to thin and long chrome fins. The only downside here is that this rear end is identical to all the other vehicles introduced by Eadon Green so far. This isn't good for the exclusivity that this boutique automaker wants to promote.

But overall, the ZRR is a cool revival of streamlined car designs from the 1920s and 1930s. It reminds me of vehicles like the Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow, Cadillac Aero-Dynamic Coupe, Talbot-Lago TS150SS, or the Bentley Embiricos, and it definitely looks better than many vehicles on the street today.

The Eadon Green ZRR has Rolls-Royce Power!

As you might have already guessed, the ZRR draws juice from the 6.6-liter V-12 that also motivates the Rolls-Royce Wraith. The twin-turbo powerplant generates a solid 593 horsepower and 619 pound-feet of torque and mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission, just like in the Wraith. The sprint to 60 mph takes only 4.8 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph. This is the most powerful Eadon Green vehicle to date, as the company's other models feature Rolls-Royce's smaller 6.0-liter V-12 and the Corvette's 6.2-liter V-8.
