The variety of vehicles found at any given Cars & Coffee event can be astounding. That’s exactly what our friend Roman at discovered when he found the EarthRoamer XV-LTS at his local meet.

EarthRoamer, a Colorado-based company, upfits Ford Super Duty trucks with composite camper shells that are self-sufficient mobile living quarters, custom built to the buyer’s specifications. As the video walk-through shows, the EarthRoamer is surprisingly spacious, even for our six-foot-something host. Everything has a dedicated spot, with absolutely no wasted space. The bathroom, for example, combines the shower and toilet into a small room, just large enough for one person. The utility factor isn’t lost, though, as the kitchen has full assortment of cooking equipment, including a sink, two-eye glass-top stove, a Keurig coffee maker, and a refrigerator.

The living quarters includes a four-person couch that folds into a bed for two. The “master suite” above the truck’->ke1311s cab has a queen-size bed, TV, and skylights. An open pass-through from the camper to the cab allows for passengers utilize the camper functions while underway. What’s more, with the additional fuel tank, the Super Duty has a 1,000-mile range. Talk about a road trip vehicle.

Speaking of the Super Duty, this particular model is built on a F-550->ke1913 chassis, complete with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V-8, six-speed automatic transmission, and 4WD system. The truck’s suspension is modified with an air-ride kit that not only smoothes out bumps, but allows for variable height adjustment and leveling for campsite set-up.

Of course, none of this comes cheap. The EarthRoamer rep says the price for this particular example is $475,000. But enough of the introductions, check out the video to see the EarthRoamer in action.
