On Friday, January 15, 2016, Porsche released a video called Petit Le Mans – The Last Dance. It is a short take on the final race of the Petit Le Mans and the emotion behind Porsche winning the 2015 United SportsCar Championship. I won’t spoil video for you, but I will say that you can clearly see the emotion from Porsche’s team as short clips tie together the behind-the-scenes action of the endurance race.

The video is about much more than Nick Tandy and Patrick Pilet’s insane run with the Porsche 911 RSR, so the video is definitely worth watching. When you watch these races one TV, or even from the stands, it is easy to forget just how much work and strategic decision making goes into advancing position and combating things like poor weather and mishaps on the track. Winning a race or championship is one thing, but starting at the back of the pack, overcoming just about every obstacle circumstances can throw, and still coming in with a win – that’s not something just any team can do. It takes a special bond between the team, the drivers, and the track, and that is what this video is all about.

With that said, go ahead and hit play. Enjoy the video and let us know what you think about it. I enjoyed watching it, and I’m sure you will too.
