The 'FLIP': Will.I.Am And AMG's Brainchild Is An AMG GT With A G-Wagon's Face! - gallery

It was just a few days ago that Will.I.Am and Mercedes AMG teased us with a very bizarre looking coupe

The most striking part was perhaps the front end, straight out of a 4x4 G Class

Well, here it is folks. The Will.I.AMG, also known as The Flip, a radical new one-off coupe designed by Will.I.AM and West Coast Customs

The main purpose of the WILL.I.AMG is to inspire and support kids from disadvantaged communities to take up STEAM i.r technical fields in the future

As you can see, the design is a mish-mash of several Mercedes models. Upfront, it is unmistakably a G Class. The gills on the hood will remind you of an SLS or an SLR

The sides carry the form of an AMG GT 4-Door Coupe while the wheels are very Maybach indeed

However, the four doors have been ditched for two suicide-style rear-hinged doors. The engine remains untouched and comes straight from AMG

The car will be unveiled at this weekend's Miami GP and will later be auctioned. Proceeds will go to Will.I.AM's Angel Foundation
