To make sure that the Bronco received a positive response, Ford had prepped to unveil it with aftermarket accessories right from the beginning, with a plan to have over 150 accessories at launch. This was a page right out of Jeep’s playbook, a brand known to sell hundreds of aftermarket parts for every model. To make sure owners have no dearth of products to customize the Bronco and Bronco Sport as per their taste, the company has now launched five more bundles for the latter.

Outdoor lifestyle and adventure is a niche that is picking up at a rapid pace. New automakers like Rivian are also trying to tap into it fiercely by offering camping equipment, an outdoor kitchen, etc. Even Ford is in the same race, offering numerous goodies and bundles for customers to purchase. The company now announced five new different lifestyle accessory bundles for the Bronco Sport, which is available now unlike the Bronco. The bundles, all of which have Yakima equipment, are – Bike, Water, Snow, Camping, and Cargo. Each of them includes:

Bike:

-* Yakima hitch-mounted bike rack (tilt, two-bike)

-* Roof rail crossbars

-* Yakima roof rack-mounted basket (medium, with net)

-* Ford all-weather floor mats

Water:

-* Yakima kayak carrier with locks

-* Yakima awning

-* Roof rail crossbars

-* Ford all-weather floor mats

Snow:

-* Yakima hitch-mounted ski/snowsport rack

-* Roof rail crossbars

-* Ford all-weather floor mats

Camping:

-* Yakima Skyrise HD two-person rooftop tent

-* Yakima awning

-* Roof rail crossbars

-* Ford all-weather floor mats

Cargo:

-* Yakima 16-cubic-foot roof-mounted cargo box

-* Roof rail crossbars

-* Ford all-weather floor mats

Ford hasn’t announced the price of these packages yet. The automaker mentioned that customers can go beyond these pre-set bundles and made their own as well. Ford tied up with Yakima to develop accessories for its vehicles since the automaker doesn’t have an in-house catalog brand like Jeep which has Mopar.

You can add them at the time of order and they will be rolled into the vehicle financing, in case you opt for it.

Ford Bronco Sport

The Bronco Sport is essentially an urban crossover with a heavy off-road bias. The automaker has offered it with two engine options – a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost mill that makes 245 horses and 275 pound-feet of torque, and a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost mill that will churn out 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of twist. Both of them are mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It starts at $26,820 and goes all the way up to $38,160.
