Earlier this year, there were rumors alleging that the third season was going to be the final run of The Grand Tour. However, Amazon has now confirmed that the show will have a fourth season with the same hosts, but many other key changes. Are these going to be good changes or bad changes?

The Show Is Not Going Anywhere

The news comes via a tweet from the show’s Twitter account that states that the show has been renewed for the fourth season. The last bit of the tweet reads, “Prime Video will continue to be the home for Jeremy, Richard, and James for years to come.”

This means there will be many more seasons after the fourth season.

What To Expect

A new format is expected for the fourth season, as the show has confirmed that the three middle-aged, fun men will “ditch the tent to take on big adventure road trips.” In case you still didn’t figure out what tents, the show is referring to the make-shift studio where the trio talks in front of a live audience. This is going to be very similar to what the trio used to do during the Top Gear days (and also what people actually enjoyed!). Not just this; Clarkson, Hammond, and May could all have their own individual spin-off shows as well.

What They Had To Say

Speaking to the Guardian, Prime Video’s Vice President, Jay Marine, said, "We're proud to say that Prime Video will continue to be the home for Jeremy, Richard, and James They've got some ambitious new ideas that Prime members are going to love. We're excited to bring more Clarkson, Hammond, and May to Prime Video for years to come."
