Believe it or not this batmobile replica, called the ’Tumbler’, was built by one man, Bob Dullam, in his garage. The Tumbler is fully functional and was built using only photographs and DVD still shots as references. Dullam, who makes specialty costumes, props, and statues for a living, reports that he spent between $50,000 and $70,000 on the project. That’s not the final cost though, since the interior is up next on the ’to-do list’.

Dullam also dressed for the event, making himself a replica of the bat-suit. And if that isn’t enough he has even announced plans to make the Batpod, the motorcycle from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Is this really homemade car? Amazing! However, it appears to be made of scrap material. Good Job to Bob Dullam for creating this unique car.

Cool. It looks closely alike to that of the real batman. I wonder if it shoots and can crash through walls too. His suit is pretty neat as well. I wonder how much hours has he spent for this two cool items.

I thought everything about Batman resembled bats. How the heck is this thing going to pass as a batmobile and was passed by the fans(geeks) as one is beyond me.
