Here’s a new teaser for the upcoming, 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneerby Ciprian Florea, on
The new-generation Jeep Grand Wagoneer is one week away from making its global debut, and the company just posted a new teaser on social media. This time in the form of a 15-second video, the teaser doesn’t show specific details, but it gives us a glimpse at the SUV’s outline from the front.
The 15-second preview is rather artsy and shows a full moon and a cluster of high buildings. As the image zooms out, the background moves into an SUV outline.
We can't see details like the grille, headlamps, or the bumper, but the outline reveals beefy wheel arches, wide wheels, and roof rails.
Features you basically want to have on a big SUV. The video also announces the return of "the shape of premium" and of the "vehicle that defined a generation of adventure."
The 2020 Jeep Grand Wagoneer will debut on September 3. Until then, check out our All You Need to Know article about the upcoming premium SUV. The Grand Wagoneer will be positioned at the top of the Jeep range and will share underpinnings with the Ram 1500 truck. It will be the company’s most luxurious vehicle and aimed at premium SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.
A second teaser previews the arrival of the Wrangler 4xe, the first plug-in hybrid version of the SUV. The video shows a Wrangler exploring rough terrain while making almost no noise, a hint of its quiet electric-only mode. The Wrangler 4xe will most likely share its hybrid drivetrain with the Chrysler Pacifica, which mates an electric motor and lithium-ion battery to a 3.6-liter V-6 gasoline engine. The hybrid Wrangler will also be unveiled in September 2020.
