Hot hatch looks with... regular hatch performance is the ethos behind Kia’s new Ceed GT Line models, just revealed at the Paris motor show. It is optionally available on the standard Ceed, as well as the estate, and standard on the new ProCeed.

The same finish is carried over to the sporty looking rims, which can be had in either 17- or 18-inch sizes. A total of 10 paint finish options are available for GT Line models.

Inside, Kia has added some sporty touches, like the black roof lining, which replaces the standard car’s grey, the scuff plates on the door sills, as well as a flat-bottom steering wheel to complete the look - it also gets paddle shifters on models equipped with the dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Sports seats complete the interior makeover, although they are not the exact ones from the GT model; those will be offered on the GT Line in the future, with either part- or full-leather upholstery, with the latter featuring heating and cooling functions.

The larger gasoline unit and either of the diesels can be had with the optional automatic transmission, instead of the standard six-speed.

Kia Ceed GT Line models will go on sale across Europe in the first quarter of 2019.
