The refreshed Urus will the first of four models that Lamborghini is introducing in 2022
by Robert Moore, onLamborghini recently announced that it was planning launch four new models in 2022, and while we don’t know everything, we know that the Aventador’s V-12 replacement should be one of them and another will be the car that you see here: The Lamborghini Urus EVO. These new spy shots give us a little bit of insight into what we can expect from the updated Urus, and right away, it’s easy to spot the updated front fascia with revised air intakes. These are wider and more eye catching than before. This prototype doesn’t feature any kind of change to the headlights, however, it could be in the cards before it’s debut.
The rear design will also change a bit, as you can see from the new rear fascia. The taillights are still the same as the current model, but these too could change. This is a mid-cycle update, but it’s been said that the facelifted Urus could debut with a little more power under the hood. The current Urus delivers 641 horsepower and 626 pound-feet of torque from its 4.0-liter V-8, and reasonable expectation would be around 655 horsepower. Why not more? Well, since the Urus Hybrid will likely have the same powertrain as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, it will have 671 horsepower and 663 pound-feet of torque, and it will probably be the most powerful of the lineup. So, the non-hybrid Urus can’t exceed those figures.
For now, we don’t know much more, but check out the gallery below to see the new spy shots for yourself!
