The New 2023 Lamborghini Aventador Looks Fantastically Hybrid

This is it; this is the Lamborghini Aventador Hybrid, and you can see it in all its glory!

The 2023 Lamborghini Aventador has been spotted on the road for the first time, and while it’s been photographed at quite a distance, there’s still a lot we can make out from this unique Aventador prototype. This specific Aventador prototype was spotted wearing the traditional black and white camo, but the most notable thing outside of the design changes are the yellow stickers posted on nearly every body panel. These stickers serve as a warning to emergency response teams that this is a hybrid electric vehicle in the event of a tragedy but also serve as a warning to us that this is an Aventador hybrid.

Even the side air intakes have been enlarged

Outside of the confirmation that this is a hybrid Aventador, we can spot a number of significant changes. In the front, this prototype is sporting production headlights and they are significantly sleeker than on the current model. They even seem to be recessed into the nose instead of sitting flush in the corners. The corner air intakes aren’t necessarily smaller but they do feature some new and unique aero elements. The air dam in the front also seems to feature a new, more angular shape.

The side profile hasn’t changed too much, but its side skirts are more muscular and defined than ever, and the engine’s air intakes in the rear quarts are downright huge by comparison. The intakes behind the rear quarter glass are now extended further back into the rear which gives the prototype a wider, more aggressive stance.

Or the revised taillights and that massive diffuser out back

Around back, this prototype features production-ready taillights and an active rear spoiler that delays at speed. The exhaust outlets sit much higher than before, and the rear fascia has a built-in diffuser that is so aggressive that it’s almost hard to tell that this is an Aventador. Details about the powertrain are a big mystery, but it’s been said that the Aventador hybrid will carry on with the same V-12 engine but paired with the hybrid powertrain from the Sian. It may not offer quite as much horsepower, but it could come close to that model’s 808 ponies.
