The big news about the seven-generation ES is that it will go global, meaning it will also be sold in Europe, where it will compete against the German sedans. The front-wheel-drive sedan is also rumored to be offered with AWD, while the drivetrain lineup will include both gasoline and hybrid choices. There’s no word on whether it will be offered with a V-8, but it could use one to fight against midsize rivals from BMW, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz.
We will find out more on April 25 at the Beijing Auto Show, so make sure you stick around for details.
