YouTuber, Damon Fryer, from Daily Driven Exotics (DDE), flew down to L.A. along with his buddies to check out a one of a kind Twin-TurboLamborghini Aventador SVJ tuned by Underground Racing, that produces, wait for it, 2000 wheel Horsepower (WHP) from Lambo’s legendary V-12 engine.
The guys at DDE are no strangers to twin-turbo Lambo’s and they drive fast car’s all the time. One of the guys even owns a Huracan with a twin-turbo engine. So it wasn’t until the guys first heard and laid their eyes on this Mental Lambo, were they overwhelmed.
The car begins life as a 2020 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, which in itself is quite literally the ultimate Lambo, to begin with. But the guys at Underground Racing based out of Los Angeles, think that they can go one better. They are known for putting out the world’s fastest street-legal twin-turbo Lamborghini’s and have now worked their magic on this Aventador. Their latest creation is nothing short of a monster.
This sinister-looking Lambo, finished in satin black, is very tastefully done. If stock is your thing, look elsewhere, because the guys at Underground Racing have thrown in the kitchen sink on this one. Pretty much everything under the skin has been heavily modified. The list of upgrades on this SVJ is pretty extensive.
Be it the addition of the Billet Twin Turbo’s on the engine, custom rod’s bearings, cylinder heads, use of high-performance air filters to an all-new fuel system, fuel injectors, or the custom-fabricated stainless steel flame thrower exhaust system, basically, the entire V-12 is stripped dow, disassembled, and rebuilt.
As a result of all this madness, the engine now produces 2000 wheel horsepower WHP on custom MS109 Racing Fuel.
Let’s take this thing for a Spin
With the specs out of the way, it was time to take Lambo out for a spin. Damon first rode as a passenger and was lost for words with the supercar’s ballistic performance and the noise. From the looks of it, even going for a passenger ride in this modified SVJ is nothing short of a frightening experience.
Damon says that the shift up from 3rd to 4th gear, is pretty violent, but apparently, you only get a full boost, in the higher gears. The torque steer on this thing is quite prevalent. You can actually see the car veer off the line, on hard acceleration. After dusk, Damon fuelled up this SVJ with some custom MS109 racing fuel, which costs $175 a can, and took this thing out on the Freeway.
It was past dusk and the driving shots of this SVJ, that the guys at DDE managed to capture in the dark, were spectacular. This 2000-horsepower monster was spitting flames while throwing out a deafening sound.
To Sum it Up
I, for one, enjoyed watching this twin-turbo Lambo every bit of hearing it accelerating hard, and it has to be any gear-heads wet dream. All said and done, this Lambo costs well north of a million bucks. Let us know what you think about this 2000 WHP Lamborghini below.
