Remember the half a dozen Ford Mustangs that crashed into each other after leaving a car meet in Dubai a few weeks ago? That incident gave us a year’s worth of equity in referring to it every time a crash of that sort happens again. Well, it didn’t take long for the ’Stang’s nemesis, the Chevrolet Camaro, to pull a Mustang when it got involved in a crash of its own after leaving an auto show in the U.K.

It might be unfair to use the plight of those unfortunate Mustangs as a launchpad for future jokes, but the drivers involved in that crash certainly earned their place. Fortunately, they can welcome a new member to the club as the driver of this particular sixth-generation Camaro earns his membership card.

Now we don’t actually see the crash happen in real-time, but a shot of the moments that led up to it show the Camaro losing control as it was leaving an auto show. You’ll also notice how, in the distance, another vehicle gets moved out of its place, suggesting that something actually hit it. The dialogue from the people captured in the video revealed one person actually saying, “it crashed.”

Then we see the aftermath, and true enough, the white Camaro did crash into a car, resulting in significant damage on both sides of its body. We also see the driver’s side airbag actually deployed and at least one of the wheels was knocked out of its place because of irreparable damage to the front axle. Make no mistake: this was a violent crash.

Fortunately, the driver appears to have escaped serious injury as a result of his carelessness. Unfortunately, the Camaro wasn’t as lucky as it was reported that because of the heavy damage it received, it was deemed as a write-off. Ouch.
