Bentley, as you know, stands for fastidious quality, exclusivity, and exquisite craftsmanship. If you adore the brand and are in the position to afford a Bentley, then there's great news for you.

You will now be able to acquire not one but five custom-made Mulsanne Grand Limousines by Mulliner. Although these cars were indeed passed over to a customer based in the UAE nearly six years ago, they have never been driven or even registered.

Overview

Bentley may have formally ended production of the Mulsanne last year, however, it isn't finished with it yet. Mulliner, Bentley's coachbuilding division, had converted five Mulsanne's into the ultimate pinnacle of luxury. Remember that the Mulsanne Grand Limousine was never really part of the British luxury carmaker's original lineup.

First showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, these stately cars were summoned and built to order. Mulliner, Bentley's division who cater exclusively to bespoke creations hand-assembled these cars.

The Mulsanne, by itself, isn't a modest car, and yet the Grand Limousine goes above and beyond. The five cars that were made have now come up for sale through Bentley's dealership in Dubai.

The Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine

If it is space that you're after from your Bentley, then forget the tiny Bentayga and its cramped rear seats because the Grand Limousine is quite literally in a class of its own.  Typical Bentley features like the single-frame grille, the flying B mascot are all present.

They also raised the roofline by 3 inches. All five cars have a unique two-tone paint job and contrasting interior color schemes. The 21-inch wheels are one-of-a-kind and sport a finish that perfectly complements the stunning paintwork on the blue car you see here.

Interior

If the exterior caught your attention, then wait until you check out the cabin of this coach-built car. As expected with any Bentley, the interior is bathed in wood and leather. The cabin of the Grand Limousine is similar to that of a private jet, and that's no coincidence because Mulliner did in fact take inspiration from the interiors of a private plane while crafting the interior of this car.

This significantly larger Bentley has great seats with room for four in the back. Riding in the rear, you get your very own heating and air conditioning system designed and built by Mulliner. The climate control system has five zones and is controlled using buttons on the armrest. It allows each of the four back passengers to manage the climate and air inlets individually.

You also get a set of picnic tables along with iPad docking stations in the back.

The glass panel that divides the driver from the occupants seated in the rear can be rendered opaque or translucent at the push of a button, for that extra bit of privacy while you make your next million-dollar deal.

Performance

With a car that prioritizes luxury and comfort, you need an engine that has adequate power but is also refined at the same time. Bentley is synonymous with creating some potent powertrains.

To lug around the added weight of this luxury barge, the Mulsanne Grand Limousine features Bentley's 6.75-liter V-8 turbo engine, which produces 512 horsepower and 753 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain is no longer available in the Bentley range today and was last seen in the Mulsanne.}

Conclusion

Personally, the Mulsanne has to be one of my favorite modern Bentleys, because it has a stately upright stance, much like its predecessor the Arnage. The Flying Spur has always been more about speed and athleticism. The Mulsanne is definitely more dignified in its design and had the styling befitting of a true Bentley.

This example you see here in the stunning shade of blue is one of them; the others have their own color schemes.

Unsurprisingly, pricing on these Mulsannes is a closely guarded secret that Bentley politely is not publicizing. Although, if you are in the market for one of these exclusive Bentley limos, the price shouldn't necessarily be a problem, should it? The dealer is also more than happy to deliver the cars anywhere around the world, if you've set your heart on one and can pay the undisclosed price.
