Earlier this month, Rockstar Energy’s Rockstar Performance Garage unveiled a real-life version of the Quadra, the same 1970 Ford Mustang-based, post-apocalyptic sports car that you can drive in the highly anticipated video game Cyberpunk 2077.

Not content with just one car from the upcoming game, the team behind Cyberpunk 2077 is doubling up on the fun by bringing to life another one of the game’s vehicles. This time, the 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo takes center stage, and it is glorious.

What’s so cool about this 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo?

Other than the well-established fact that the 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo is one of the most desirable 911 Turbos of all time, this particular 911 Turbo is a true one-of-one in every sense of the word. Just like the 1970 Ford Mustang-based Quadra, this 911 Turbo was created specifically for marketing the highly anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077.

Unlike the Quadra, this 911 Turbo doesn’t go by another name; Porsche actually gave game developer CD Projekt the green light to use the famous forced-induction 911 in the game and, more importantly, create a real-world likeness of the same car.

Why is this 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo special?

Cyberpunk 2077 has yet to be released — it’s scheduled to drop on November 19 — but based on trailers of the video game and this promotional video by Porsche, we already know what Johnny Silvehand’s Porsche 911 Turbo looks like. Silverhand will be voiced by Keanu Reeves in the game, which is cool by itself. But his car is cooler. Way cooler.

Custom decals are also included in the sports car's presentation, including the word “Samurai” that’s affixed on the rear decklid of the 911. “Samurai,” for those who aren’t familiar, is the name of Silverhand’s band in the game.

What’s the fate of this one-of-one 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo?

Unlike the Quadra, which Rockstar Energy is giving away, there are no plans to give this 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo to anyone. There’s no price tag attached to it and it’s not headed to any auction houses anytime soon. It’s not even going to Porsche, though the automaker does have a schedule with the car as it’s currently on display at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany until October 22, 2020. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess what happens to the real-life ride of Johnny Silverhand.
