Let’s be serious: who doesn’t dream about owning and daily driving the living daylight out of a Porsche 911? With the answer to that question in mind, imagine how you would have reacted as a kid if you got this 911 toy-car for your birthday.

Arguably, it might be too late for us adults to live those kinds of emotions, but if you have got a kid and about $18,000 lying around, this Honda-powered miniature 911 made by Porsche could turn you into the ultimate mom or/and dad.

Power comes from an 83-cc Honda engine that churns out, wait for it, 2.15 horsepower. Which makes a lot of sense, since the whole point of such a toy car is to deliver thrills for the little ones while also keeping them safe. This is also why top speed is set at 25 kph (15 mph). The ad, however, does mention that it can be adjusted, yet it doesn’t to say which way – can you bump it up for more advanced peewee drivers, bring it down a notch, or both?

Anyway, future gearheads will be able to row their own boat courtesy of a two-speed manual gearbox (it also has a reverse gear). The ad also mentions that the 911 Cabriolet Junior was sold in 1983 and comes from a limited-run batch of just 224 units.

Back then, it retailed for $4,500. Today, the price story is different since whoever is selling the toy is asking €14,900, or the equivalent of $17,800 at current exchange rates. Which is kind of expensive, but then again, someone is asking $70,000 for a Honda CRX.
