Lamborghini introduced the Murciélago back in 2001 as a successor to the Diablo. The Murciélago was in production for almost a decade. It was the first new car after 11 years and also happened to be the first under its new parent, Volkswagen. The Italian car was also the new flagship V-12 and worthy to be the face of the company. The car sold in decent numbers – 4,099 examples to be exact – and is still a hit with enthusiasts.

If you are someone who was craving to own one, here’s your chance to own a 2006 model Murciélago with 14,000 miles on the odo, courtesy of the Bring-a-Trailer auction.

What’s So Special About The Lamborghini Murciélago?

This 2006 model is finished in Grigio Antares shade. It comes with interesting exterior intricacies, such as bi-xenon headlights and a single pantograph wiper. It rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels with Lamborghini center caps. The wheels are wrapped in Pirelli rubber measuring 245/35 section at the front and 335/30 at the back. The seller notes that these tires were installed in Miami in 2019 along with a wheel replacement. The braking duties are taken over by silver-finished calipers fitted over cross-driller rotors. The Murcielago also features scissor doors and an automatically deployable rear spoiler.

On the inside, the seats come upholstered in black leather with contrasting red stitching. The same pattern continues on the door panels, center console, and dashboard. It comes with a Pioneer head unit that supports Bluetooth. The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather and sits in front of an instrument cluster with a 220 mph speedometer and a 7,600 rpm redline tachometer. This Murciélago has clocked a shade under 14,000 miles. Other features in here include:

-* Back up camera

-* Automatic climate control

-* Embroidered floor mats

-* Power windows and mirrors

Power was sent to all the wheels via a gated six-speed manual gearbox. It could sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.8 seconds. In 2018, a Capristo valved exhaust with remote control and 200-cell catalytic converters was installed in Miami, Florida for over $16,000.
