This Bespoke Pagani Huayra BC Roadster "Supernova" Is The Definition of Sexy
This is one of the most tastefully-modified hypercars we’ve seen in quite some timeby Sidd Dhimaan, on
The Pagani Huayra arrived on the automotive scene in 2011 as a spiritual successor to the Zonda. It derives its name from Huayra-tata, a Quetcha wind God. The company announced just 100 examples of the Huayra when launched and all of them we sold by 2015. This was followed by the Huayra Roadster, Huayra BC, Huayra Roadster BC, and the Huayra Imola. All of these are limited production models as well and Pagani will build just 100, 20, 40, and five examples, respectively.
A customer in Canada recently took the delivery of his highly-customized Roadster BC ‘Supernova,’ and we can’t stop drooling over it.
This Pagani Huayra just redefined automotive customization
People who buy ultra-exclusive cars like the Pagani Huayra like to customize and make their car not only more personal but totally unique. While some feel a little too extravagant or just downright ugly, the owner of this Huayra Roadster BC sure has good taste. Pfaff Pagani of Toronto uploaded a few pictures on Instagram to show this vehicle off.
His hypercar is finished in Ora Rosa exposed carbon fiber with a sweet gold tint to it.
Red pinstripes complement this unique shade. It rides on Bronze Chiaro and Diamond sparkle wheels with red brake calipers. The interior is bespoke, too. It comes with tartan and leather upholstered seats. Generous application of Alcantara can be seen on the steering wheel and the dashboard. The instrument cluster matches the golden hue seen on the exterior.
Why Is The Pagani Huayra Such A Special Car?
The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC features a carbo-titanium and carbo-triax monocoque with tubular steel sub-frames in the front and rear. The car rides on APP forged monolithic aluminum wheels as standard, which measure 20 inches in the front and 21 inches in the back. They are shod in Pirelli Zero Trofeo R tires measuring 265/30 and 355/25 in the front and back, respectively.
It is powered by a 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V-12 engine developed exclusively for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG. It churns out 791 ponies at 5,900 rpm and 774 pound-feet of oomph between 2,000 and 5,600 rpm. An X-Trac seven-speed transversal automatic gearbox sends power to the ground via the rear wheels. It also comes with an electro-mechanical differential.
The Huayra Roadster BC features Brembo brakes on all four corners, with six-piston calipers up front and four-piston calipers at the rear. It features a forged aluminum independent suspension setup with Helical springs and electronically controlled shocks. Thanks to the robust yet light build, the Huayra Roadster BC weighs just 2,756 pounds before all the fluids are filled.
