In all fairness, the only obvious winner here is GermanyCarwow are known to push the boundaries of what a fair drag race means but, hey, we’re allowed to have some innocent fun from time to time, right?

In this new four-way duel, the BMW M340i Touring (that’s the wagon, by the way) meets the likes of Mercedes-AMG G 63, Audi RS Q3, and Volkswagen T-Roc R.

This is actually what Carwow’s long-term garage looks like at the moment

Obviously, the most powerful of the bunch is the Mercedes-AMG G 63 - its 4.0-liter V-8 makes 585 horsepower. At the same time, the boxy SUV is also the heaviest car in the lineup, tipping the scales at 2,550 kilos (5,622 pounds).

Volkswagen’s T-Roc R, on the other hand, looks like a butterfly in comparison to the G-Wagen. It tips the scales at 1,570 kilos (3,461 pounds) and makes do with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 300 horsepower on tap.

The RS Q3 is a tad heavier than the T-Roc R (1,700 kilos or 3,748 pounds) but it packs a five-cylinder, turbocharged 2.5-liter mill good for 400 horsepower.

Last but definitely not least, the BMW M340i, albeit in wagon form, comes with 3.0-liter straight-six (also turbocharged) that produces 374 horsepower. It also tips the scales at 1,750 kilos (3,858 pounds).

Also worth mentioning is that all of the four contestants are fitted with all-wheel-drive systems and automatic gearboxes. As for their ability to pull their own weight in a drag race, well, let’s say the only car able to keep up with the BMW was the G-Class. How about that?
