A red 1995MY McLaren F1 has hit the market. The exceptional supercar comes with a well-documented history, including the distinction of being one of only seven F1 units that were sold brand new in the U.S. It is currently in the hands of ISSIMI, a California-based seller that specializes in peer-to-peer automobile sales. The price of the McLaren F1 isn’t being disclosed. Those who are interested are invited to reach out to the seller.

It’s not often that a McLaren F1 goes up for sale. It’s even rare that a McLaren F1 that goes up for sale has a unique history as the one that’s currently available through ISSMI.

It also comes with a clear and well-documented ownership history from when it was purchased new. There’s no mention of how much mileage it has incurred, but the seller did say that it has enough miles “to be usable.”

The information is helpful to a certain extent, but it doesn’t really paint a proper picture of the condition of the British supercar. We do know that a BMW-sourced 6.1-liter V-12 engine is responsible for sending 618 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque to the two rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. In full form, the F1 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 240 mph.

Given its age, it is wishful thinking to assume that this particular F1 still has that much power in its V-12 engine. Still, it’s hard to come by a McLaren F1 that has the claimed history that this model has. It also looks as if it can still tussle with today’s supercars. That’s worth a call or two to ISSMI.
