In trying to hype up the arrival of the EQS, Mercedes-Benz took to YouTube where it started a short series of videos called Unexpected Beauty. The second clip in the series focuses on the human-centric cabin of the EQS as it also puts the people who developed it into the limelight.

Rumor has it that the EQS will debut in April 2020. Unlike the EQC crossover, the EQS will sit on a dedicated platform developed specifically for EV applications. It is this platform that will allow the EQS to offer loads of interior space, with the tech chapter being written by the impressive MBUX Hyperscreen interface.

Expect a cascade of high-quality materials, too, but as you’re about to see, Mercedes-Benz was also focused on making the EQS’ cabin a very human-friendly environment. That is a smart move because with all that tech infusion, you know, large screens, no buttons, just icons and menus, a modern car’s cabin tends to get a bit cold and even lifeless.

Yes, the Hyperscreen is going to be the center piece of the EQS as far as its interior goes, but Mercedes-Benz also made sure it did not leave any loose ends in the comfort and livability department. More about that in the video below.
