The first Corvette Z06 was auctioned for the amazing amount of $3.7 million. Now you have the chance to own another unique Z06. It won't be the first one, but it will be the only one in the world finished in this very cool-looking Minted Green finish. And it will come with an additional NFT as proof of your ownership.

Chevrolet is not in fact the only automaker that tries to cash in on the new NFT trend. Lamborghini will sell the last Aventador unit along with a non-fungible token, while the Alfa Romeo Tonale's the NFT will be used to record vehicle data with the customer’s consent.

Artist xsullo created a one-of-one 2023 Corvette Z06-inspired NFT finished in a unique color called Minted Green – a reference to the minting NFTs process. His work will be auctioned off via SuperRare during the upcoming “Own the Color” auction set to take place June 20-24, 2022. What does this mean? That the winner of the auction will get to say he/she owns the color. The winner will also get a matching Corvette Z06 finished in the same Minted Green as proof.

It will be the only Z06 finished in this color, as Chevy promised it will not use the color for any other production 2023 Corvette Z06 – it may however be in later model years if Chevy decides to do so. It will also get a unique VIN – inspired by the binary code to mark Chevrolet’s first entry into the Web3 space. This unique Z06 will also be equipped with the Z07 performance package, carbon fiber wheels, and a commemorative plaque that will carry a special RFN option code – that will help associate the car with the auction and its one-off status.

The Minted Green Z06 will be offered with a 5.5-liter, flat-plane crank naturally aspirated V-8 engine that delivers a total of 670 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Like with all the other Z06 models, power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is done in 2.5 seconds, while top speed goes up to 195 mph.

The bad news is that the winner of this bid won’t be able to enjoy their unique Z06 for quite some time, as production is not slated to begin until late summer of 2022. The good news is that the car is really worth the wait!

“Corvette is a halo at Chevrolet. It’s the pinnacle of performance and staying cutting-edge means getting into new territories as a bit of a pioneer,” said Steve Majoros, vice president, Chevrolet Marketing. “This is our company’s first NFT. We see ‘Own the Color’ as an important stepping stone for Chevrolet into future digital initiatives for our customers.”
