The new-generation Ford Mustang came with a few surprises, the biggest one being of course the fact that Ford opted to offer no electrification whatsoever. In a world where electrification is taking over, that's a very bold move. However, that's not the only surprise the new S650 Mustang is offering. Ford also added to the lineup the new Dark Horse track machine: a model powered by the most powerful V-8 ever offered in a Mustang. And while the standard Dark Horse can only be used on the track, Instagram user jlord8 imagined a version that could be used on a daily basis.

The Mustang Dark Horse Looks Cool As A Wagon

Let’s face it: there aren’t many high-performance wagons out there. Except for the Audi RS6 Avant, the Mercedes-Benz E63 Wagon and the recently launched BMW M3 Touring, choices are very limited. So, a model like this Dark Horse Station Wagon could actually be very successful. Of course, the new emission regulations might soon prevent us from having these kinds of pleasures, but until that happens it would be cool if Ford will consider building a car like this. After all, the Mustang must keep its sales supremacy in front of the Camaro, and a station wagon would help, especially in markets like Europe.

The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse Is A 500-HP Track Toy

Launched at the same time with the new generation Mustang, the Dark Horse will be offered with the same 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 that powers the 760-horsepower GT500. The engine comes with a few tweaks, like updated piston connecting rods and a dual throttle body intake system, but it will only deliver 500 horsepower. Still, this will be more than enough to transform the Dark Horse into the most powerful Mustang ever. But it is not only the most powerful Mustang ever, it is also the most aggressive one, putting to shame even models like the Shelby GT500.

When compared to the standard Mustang, the new Dark Horse has darkened all-LED headlights, blackened trapezoidal intake vents, a more prominent splitter on the bumper, wider fenders, and side skirts, plus a fixed wing in the rear. It will be offered in two variants: S and R. The S is developed for enthusiasts who spend the weekends on racetracks, and the R one is strictly built for race use. The latter will be equipped with even more goodies, like a fuel cell for increased efficiency, strategic seam welding, and Ford Performance Parts lightweight wheels.

FAQ

Q: What kind of camera do bikers use?

Many bikers use GoPro because of the huge amount of mounting options they produce, making it easy to attach to any helmet or any bike.

Q: Where do you put your camera on your motorcycle helmet?

Most cameras are mounted on top of the helmet, but they can also be mounted on the side. If it's a 360° camera, then on top would be best.

Q: Are GoPros allowed on motorcycle helmets?

At the moment, there is no legislation that says you can't mount an action camera on a helmet, although the F.I.M., the international motorsport governing body, has outlawed them in competition due to the increased risk of injury in the event of an accident.
