Pininfarina had jointly designed and developed nine Leggenda eClassic Simulators with ‘The Classic Car Trust’ to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the start of Battista “Pinin” Farina’s career. Now, one of them is going up for sale at RM Sotheby’s auction, and it could be the best way to spend around $150,000 of your money; if you’re into classic cars, that is. Confused? Read on…

The Leggenda eClassic Simulator Is Inspired By The Cisitalia 202

Pininfarina collaborated with ‘The Classic Car Trust’ and created nine simulators. These simulators were intended to replicate the driving experience of a classic car. You get to drive your favorite classic cars on virtual roads and tracks based on various locations around the world. This includes famous tracks such as Nurburgring, Spa, Brands Hatch, a 1960s-inspired Monza, and other alpine roads that simulate and mimic hill climb races.

It would only be fitting if the simulator was also designed like a classic car, which it is. It is designed to be as accurate as the original model. The cabin has only a single seat – as it should be – and is upholstered in Marrone Tobacco-shade Connolly leather. A curved widescreen TV is positioned over the driver’s seat. It further includes things like:

-* A Nardi wooden steering wheel

-* Three-pedal configuration

-* Manual gear lever

-* Vintage Hanhart chronometer integrated into the dashboard

-* Starter button

The purchase of this simulator will give you access to the eClassic Club with membership to the eClassic Member App for three years. This will allow you to be part of an online community and access training sessions, races, or informal group drives.

Conclusion

It is offered without reserve and the auction will be held on 17 September 2021.
