This One-Off Lamborghini Aventador S Was One Of The Secret Highlights Of Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed once again lived up to its billing. What’s new, right? Classic cars, modern supercars, race cars from all generations, all of them were in attendance at the annual event. That staggering volume is a big reason why Goodwood has become a must-attend event in the auto calendar. On that note, it’s also a good place to find some noteworthy gems that may have been overshadowed by some of its peers. Take for example this one-off Lamborghini Aventador S. There was little peep about it during the run-up to the event and the whole three days that the Festival of Speed was going on. Well, that ends now because we’re giving you some love, dear Lambo.
To be specific, this one-off Lamborghini Aventador S is the work of Ad Personam, the Italian automaker’s very own personalization division. It didn’t receive any hype presumably because it was designed to stand as nothing more than a showcase of Ad Personam’s abilities, but it’s still designated as a one-off creation, meaning that there’s unlikely to be anything like it in the future. Lamborghini didn’t say if the car is going to end up for sale, but considering the motive behind its development, don’t expect to see it in the hands of a customer anytime soon. Chances are it’s going to stay with Lamborghini for the foreseeable future, possibly to serve its purpose as a showcase model of the Italian automaker’s own personalization division. Still, it looked at home at Goodwood in the company of all those cars it was with. That tells you that this one-off Aventador S should have received more attention than it did.

What makes this particular Aventador S a truly unique model?
The features carried by this Lamborghini Aventador S paint a clear picture of what Ad Personam is fully capable
It’s largely aesthetic in nature, but the features carried by this Lamborghini Aventador S paint a clear picture of what Ad Personam is fully capable. It starts with the exterior where the 740-horsepower supercar received a matte Grigio Acheso exterior paint finish with matching matte orange accents serving as a secondary color. Most of the other changes are of the visual nature too, highlighted by a gloss carbon-fiber roof, a matte black exhaust system, and a set of polished black wheels with bright orange brake calipers peeking behind them.
Move inside and the two-tone styling continues with a predominant black Alcantara upholstery and matching orange accents on the seats and steering wheel. The same orange color is also used quite heavily as contrast stitching and all-around trim inside the cabin. Finishing off the unique details of this one-off Aventador S is a special plate inside the car that reads: “Ad Personam - Opera Unica.” That translates to “unique work,” which is as good a description as any to highlight the one-off nature of this particular Aventador S.
The supercar accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 mph
Power remains stock, which means that it’s still carrying a 6.5-liter V-12 engine that produces 740 horsepower and 507 pound-feet of torque. All that power is sent to all four wheels courtesy of a seven-speed transmission, allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 mph.
I know it’s unlikely this’ll happen, but still, let’s hope that Lamborghini has more plans for this one-off Aventador S than just using it as a showpiece model. I’m willing to bet somebody’s going to pay a good price for it considering its one-off status.
