Jason Cammisa from Hagerty has come up with a unique drag race with four fast trucks - the Ram 1500 TRX, the Ford F-150 Raptor, the GMC Syclone, and the Rivian R1T
This isn’t a conventional drag race where all the four went up against each other. It’s more about the narration and the different perspectives, analysis, and comparisons that are put across throughout the video
First up, the Ram 1500 TRX, the Rivian R1T, and the Ford F-150 Raptor went up against each other
The Rivian R1T won this very comfortably, taking in 11.6 seconds at 111 mph to complete the race. Its 0 to 60 mph sprint came in three seconds flat
The Ram 1500 TRX took 12.2 seconds at 110 mph to run the quarter-mile distance, and sprinted from o to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. As for the Raptor, it took 5.4 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and 14.2 seconds at 94 mph to the quarter-mile
The team then brought in the GMC Syclone, but put it on a trailer and attached it to the Rivian for another race
The Ram TRX sprinted across and won, but the real surprise was the Rivian beating the Raptor even with a 6,000-pound truck on its ass!
The final race was between the Syclone and the Raptor. The Syclone is around 20 years older than the Raptor and makes a lot less power, but it still beat the Ford truck convincingly
The Syclone completed the run in 13.3 seconds at 97 mph. The Raptor’s time wasn’t recorded, but if you take its first run time into account, the Syclone hit the finish line 0.9 seconds quicker than the Raptor
