Nowadays, the internet is packed with talented artists that render all sorts of impressive cars. Whether designed from scratch or based on existing cars, many of them are so cool that they deserve a place on an assembly line. This race-inspired Porsche 911 created by Khyzyl Saleem is definitely one of them.

Needless to say, it's not a bad idea, as the McLaren-style bumper gives the 911 a race-ready look. Of course, the bumper is backed by a massive splitter and an extremely low ride height. The rendering was completed in 2020 with a body kit inspired by those created by Live To Offend and a few new additions like aero wheels.

But this is more than just a beefed-up 911. While the front fascia still bears resemblance to the car it is based on; the rear section is a dramatic departure. The rear fenders and the bumper were completely cut off below wheel arches and the taillights, leaving the latter to "flow" into the air.

The bumper was not replaced with a conventional body element, so it's just an open section that exposes the engine bay and some of the drivetrain. The big exhaust pipes that pop out through the engine lid grille makes the 911 look that much more menacing. I personally prefer side-exiting exhaust pipes on these designs, but this setup looks amazing as well.

The Sinister 991, as its designer has called it, is essentially a hybrid between a 991-gen 911, a McLaren 650S, and a race-spec Porsche 911 RSR. It's sinister but beautiful at the same time. It looks modern, but it also reminds me of no-nonsense race cars from the 1970s and 1980s. It's perfect!
