We’re barely in mid October and already some of the big guns in the Auto Industry are showcasing their nifty Christmas gift ideas. Here are some of the latest offerings from Mercedes Benz.

There is literally something for everyone, starting with the guys of course. Try the range of stainless steel watches starting at €399, or 3D star motif cufflinks for a thrifty €39. For the golfing husband, check out the Mercedes Benz golf bag complete with rain cover for €269. A simple leather shoulder bag makes an easy choice for those unsure of a functional gift idea – yours for €169. Ladies need not feel left out – of course you have been catered for with Swiss timepieces featuring interchangeable straps at €269, and for the more fashion conscious, the purple knitted cashmere scarf is an ideal choice at €89.

Just because guys grow bigger doesn’t actually mean they grow up! To prove that theory try placing these gift ideas in front of a grown man and his son and we’ll guarantee their reactions will be the same. The Mercedes Benz Formula 1 racing car models (both Schumacher and Rosberg versions available) will no doubt be fought over, priced at €79.90 (1:18 scale) and €41.90 (1:43 scale)

More ideas after the jump.

Exclusively for the kids is the self-drive small-scale SL Roadster – available either in pedal car (€205) or battery-powered (€369) versions. The Bobby Benz (€79.90) makes a great introduction to the world of Mercedes for younger children, while the girls only Mercedes Benz Kids Bike provides an ideal platform for first-time riders at €299. The cute and cuddly teddy bear at €22.90 might just become someone’s friend for life, and the Christmas bauble set, featuring hand-painted classic cars, brings Mercedes-Benz stars to every Christmas tree for €26.

The quality and finish of all these products are in line with everything produced under the German Marque so you can be sure of longevity. All of the items in the Christmas Collection are available online, as well as from selected Mercedes Benz partners, the Mercedes Benz Museum shop, and the Customer Center in Sindelfingen.

So what’s with Three-pointed Star? what does it mean? However, this would be a great gift for kids and kids at heartsmiley

I wish to have three pointed star car on Christmas too. It looks really expensive though.

Step back from the cliff, the 3-pointed star is not going away. Remember for many decades the star was surrounded by Laurel leaves? The leaves were dropped to streamline the logo. I suspect some similar tweak is what’s in store. It will probably be imperceptible to most.

They’ll also need to seriously re-work the C-Class to compete with everyone’s benchmark, the BMW 3-Series. The C300/350 Sport is nice, but the frumpy styling and dull interior is no match for a 328/335i Sport Premium spec, especially with the Saddle Brown leather interior.
