As we all sit back and eagerly await the grand debut of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, creative minds are at their desk bringing the future car’s design to light in their own renditions. As other renderings have proven to be a tad too aggressive compared to the milder changes found in the Impreza Design Concept, we’ve come up with this prediction of the future Impreza WRX STI.

The 2012 Impreza will feature a hexagonal grille with spread wings in the center and hawk eye-style headlights. The rear will get sharp-edged rear lights and a new taillamp. The STI version will also get fender flares, a top-mount intercooler, and a massive wing on the back.

The concept debuted with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated Boxer engine mated to a Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), but don’t expect to see the same for the production model. The WRX STI is expected to carry a turbocharged version of the 2.5 liter boxer engine with more than 305 HP on tap. The engine will be mated to a fully synchronized close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission.

We expect the 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX to debut in late 2011, with sales beginning in early 2012

I love the sporty exterior of this Impreza, and the color that they used gives an impression of an aggressive and a powerful car.

Subaru has been very good in design such kind of performance engine. I know that they can able to handle this race.

Subaru has been very aggressive with its design lately. I agree with everyone, it looks like they’ve already prove something. Being one of the most innovative and stylish cars we’ve going to see in the future.

hmm. They haven’t mentioned the complete figure performance of this car. However Im as well as impressed on the look and styling of this car. And it seems that its sportier!

Wow! I think the new platform of the Subaru really looks so great and more aggressive! I like the spoiler and the styling in the front, the Impreza looks more sporty in this version.

It basically looked the same Subaru Impreza. However, there were changes on its front design. Its rendition has become more sophisticated and futuristic. I love its hawk eye style headlights.

One thing I am really curious of is that spoiler on this one. I don’t remember the previous generation models having that on, so it is unlikely that we will see it on the new model.

Well, from the looks of it, we are in for another impressive Impreza model (forgive the pun). As for the engine, I think that it would actually be just fine for the car.

Actually, I think they have made a right choice for the engine on this one. I would say that the engine that they have used on the previous Impreza model is really good, so it was a good idea that they would be retaining that.

Well, this new rendition that Subaru made to Impreza is quite cool. I think this car has something to prove for us. Can’t wait for the release of this one.

i find the impreza’s more fun than the lancer evolutions but the design looks sort of similar to a volvo

One thing that I really like about these renderings is that they are actually really imaginative with their take on the car. Hopefully, the actual Impreza will come up close to this one.

Wow! That’s great I thought they are going to use the same engine with the production model. However, the speed performance of this car is kind of powerful. And using the 2.5 liter boxer engine, I bet its just enough to make it blast in the race track.

I can see that there’s a lot of changes in the exterior of this car though I wasn’t impressed with it at all. I was expecting that they will upgrade the speed performance of this car.
