Japan is the birthplace of some pretty astonishing things, especially in the realm of the automotive. Drifting, Bosozoku, and the Nissan Skyline GT-R->ke1592 all come readily to mind. But what if you wanted your Japanese transportation with a little more “mecha?” Well, Toyota->ke88 has the solution.

Say hello to the Zeonic-Toyota Auris.->ke1984 It’s a product tie-in between the automaker and Bandai, the same company behind the outrageously awesome Gundam Series, and it’s the closest thing you’ll get to your own mobile suit.

This isn’t the first time Toyota has done a Gundam-themed Auris. The original was such a hit, a new version is now available, and it comes complete with tons of customization options. Modeled after the robot piloted by Gundam villain Char Anzable, customers can opt for a new body kit, special-edition wheels, heavily bolstered sport seats, sheets of graphics, and even a few performance upgrades. Prices start at 3,216,437 yen ($26,926) and range up to 3,720,110 yen ($31,142). No word yet on availability for laser rifle upgrades.
