Toyota Endo to hit dealers in 2007
Toyota is set to launch a city car based on the concept presented at 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, that will hit the dealers in 2007. The stubby profile and smooth surfaces will give the Endo a futuristic appearance - and help it become a more upmarket alternative to the Aygo.
The model will have unusual features like: a wrap-around windscreen, vertical tailgate and two-tone bodywork. Toyota Endo’s is inspired the design from the Smart and the Peugeot 1007, but the styling eliminates the compromises these two models require. For example, clever wide-opening doors improve access to the cabin without resorting to the heavy and expensive sliding units that mark out the 1007.
The model will have room for four passengers and will feature a flat screen dashboard.
