At the time of penning this piece, we’re just hours away from the GR Corolla’s debut. But, as is with most of the new launches, the car gets leaked right before the debut. Countless examples come to mind, but for now, let’s stick to the topic at hand – the GR Corolla. This Japanese hot hatch has been leaked right before its official launch, and we have the pics right here, courtesy of grcorollaforum.com

While you can check out all the images here, there is some information that’s available, too.

It will be mated to a six-speed intelligent manual transmission that comes with rev-matching. You also get the GR-Four all-wheel-drive system with up to 30/70 split. It even comes with front and rear Torsen limited-slip differential.

The car will ride on 18-inch matte black wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. As for the other salient features on the exterior, the car will feature a forged carbon-fiber roof, a vented hood, and functional vents for enhanced aerodynamics and cooling. You can even spot a front splitter and a rear spoiler and diffuser here.

On the inside, you’ll get an upgraded ultra-suede and synthetic leather-trimmed seats. A unique gauge cluster will also be present, perhaps with performance-related pages that will be synced with the touchscreen system.

The GR Corolla debuts at 9:30 p.m. EDT, and you can watch the livestream right here:
