Two of the ex-employees of the Ferrari F1 team were fount guilty for industrial espionage, by a court from Modena. Mauro Iacconi and Angelo Santini were send to jail, first with a year and four months of punishment and the other with nine months, for providing confidential information from Ferrari to  Toyota.


They sign with Toyota after working for Ferrari and provide industrial secrets for the Japanese team. After the case was made public, both employees were fired from Toyota.Santini was convicted for divulging commercial secrets, and Iacconi for the defalcation of a CD received from Santini.The CD contained data, files and technical drawings. The layers of the tow announced that will intent appeal.
