While the Euro-spec model received center console and an additional USB port, but Jeep declined to say whether or not these changes are carried over to the U.S.-spec model. The Renegade Has More Power

The refreshed Renegade comes with a new standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder Tigershark engine that produces 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. It's connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional four-wheel drive system. The Renegade also gets an all-new 1.3-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 177 horses and 200 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes standard on the Renegade Limited and Trailhawk, but can be availed on the Sport and Latitude trims as well. Our Take

This is how a facelift should be – refreshed in every sense. The major draw and reason for success would be the new 1.3-liter engine that is not only powerful but also fuel-efficient. Jeep played it smart by equipping the 2019 Renegade with lighting package instead of restyling the parts, per se - Same effect, lesser work. The prices are not announced yet, but it won’t be at a premium to the current model. Did you like this new crossover? Let us know in the comments section below.
