Valentino Rossi may still be salty over losing out on the 2015 MotoGP title, but if this recent video of him driving his Monster Energy Ford Fiesta WRC racer is any indication, he seems to be doing a good job at keeping his emotions in check.

If you’re not used to seeing Rossi in a four-wheeled race car,->ke148 you’d be surprised to know that he’s actually pretty skilled in that environment, having previously competed in the World Rally Championship->ke523 on three separate occasions in 2002, 2006, and 2008. Sure, his bread and butter is still MotoGP, but seeing how he successfully navigates around the track at the 2015 Monza Rally Show goes to show how talented the nine-time world champion is on any kind of racing series.

The car he’s driving, a bespoke Ford Fiesta WRC racer, is actually his, having been given to him thanks to his close partnership with Monster Energy. He may not compete with it on a regular basis, but when the situation calls for it, as it did at the Monza Rally Show, he’s more than willing to show everyone why he is considered one of the most decorated racers in the history of motor racing.

Oh, and he actually won the Monza Rally Show with the Fiesta WRC.->ke1170 It may not be as important to him as winning that 10th world title, but at least he can take comfort knowing that he didn’t get short-changed this time around, as he did during the highly controversial conclusion of the 2015 MotoGP season.
