Video: 1960 Corvette at Le Mans documentary
General Motors was doing a little spring cleaning when they came across a very old and very special piece of history. Okay, so we don’t know if they were doing spring cleaning, but they definitely had to look through a lot of GM stuff to come across this little treasure. General Motors has revealed a very rare documentary that presents the Corvette racing at the 1960 24-hours ofLe Mans race. The Corvette finished in eighth place at the race, but the Briggs S. Cunningham team scored the fastest lap. The Corvette was driven by John Fitch and Bob Grossman.

haha. The graphics of the video is so vintage feels like watching on the TV screen during the late 1960’s! Its a great thing that GM have this kind of documentary and let us the glimpse about what happen in 1960 Le Mans!
I’m really proud on GM! I think they have produced millions of a car over the years. And they haven’t disappointed their faithful consumers. However, its kind of sad that the company is going through a crisis due to hybrid production it hurts their sales.
That is a great video, I would love to have that Vette. More over, I would love to do what Lance does.
Special thanks for all of your support regarding our journey over to Le Mans for the 50th! I especially appreciate you helping us get the word out about AMYLOIDOSIS – the disease that took my father’s life in 2004.
The Corvette is an amazing car, but they better fix the interior instead of coming up with new limited editions.. How much does it cost to design a new dash??
haha. So "pre historic"..
Nice video..Le Mans documentary is such a fun to watch.
Wow, that was pretty cool. They did pretty well, considering. And today they’re doing better than pretty well.

Well, It seems I’ve been thinking of a better way to celebrate Memorial day weekend than Corvettes noising up the French countryside.
I bet this is the original movie of the ’60’s le mans.I bet this is the original movie of the ’60’s le mans.
Is this the genuine footage of 1960 le mans? or it’s just a re-enactment?
