The 2011 Ford Mustang is set to make its debut at the LA Auto Show with a new 3.7-liter V6 engine. With a new engine in tow, the Mustang will come with over 305 horsepower and 280-lb of torque. In addition to that, customers will also get the chance to choose either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Further details surrounding the car are still murky but if you want to catch a glimpse of the 2011 Mustang and hear that oh-so-glorious engine, check out the video.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read full bio

I never doubted how fascinating the car is and of course it’s an America’s favorite muscle car. But I want a V8 Mustang because I think it’s more reliable than the V6 and also I want my muscle car to be more powerful on the road.

The 2011 Ford Mustang V6 will get a Camaro-beating 315 HP V6, according to leaked info posted on The Mustang Source.

I will wait for the details of that car. As of the moment, I will choose the automatic transmission if I have the chance because it’s easy for my wife to drive an automatic car. Also the performance is totally outstanding.
