With all 500 units of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 sold out within a couple of months, a lot of muscle car->ke507 enthusiasts are basically forced to wait for the 2015 model to start rolling off the production line. But not the big guns of the aftermarket industry, who have already managed to snatch of few examples and turned them into more extreme machines.

For instance, Callaway is already selling a supercharger upgrade for it, while the folks over at Hennessey->ke1863 are ready to stuff a pair of turbochargers under the Z/28's hood at any time. Redline Motorsports also got its hands on one of these muscle cars and are working on a few updates as we speak. But before getting busy with adding more power to that 7.0-liter engine, the tuner put it through a dyno test to see how many ponies actually reach the rear wheels.

This is the first time a 2014 Camaro Z/28 hit the dyno to our knowledge, and the results are interesting to say the least because the coupe->ke141 pulled 455 horsepower and 420.4 pound-feet of torque. That translates into a 10-percent power and 13-percent torque loss from its official rating of 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque, which is far less than we expected. What do you think?
