We have brought you many spy shots of the next Mercedes S-Class, but this is the first video that shows the car on public roads. The car is still wearing camouflage, but no need to worry, as we will get to see it in all of its glory in May.
The new 2014 S-Class will feature a new design language inspired by the F800 Style Concept, but at the same time, you should expect some elements from the recently launched models, like the one-piece headlamps with LED daytime running lights we have seen in the new E-Class.
Under the hood, rumors suggest that Mercedes will likely place a revised version of the current engine lineup. This means that customers will be able to choose between a revised twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V-8 engine with 429 horsepower; a 510-horsepower twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-12; or an AMG twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8 that delivers somewhere between 536 and 550 horsepower.
