Don't you just love when the automakers have no idea what their new cars really are, and they end up posting specifications that are not even close to the real thing?

Porsche ->ke1 did exactly this with its 2014 911 Turbo S. The company reported a top speed of 197 mph and a 0-to-60 mph sprint time of 3.1 seconds. Well, Christian Gebhardt from sportauto.de proved that these numbers are slightly off-base, in a good way.

In a recent test drive, he managed to take the new Turbo S->ke571 up to a top speed of 333 km/h (206 mph). If we were Porsche, we would have loved to brag that our car is capable of cresting the 200 mph barrier. In the same test, the new Turbo S hit 60 mph in just 3 seconds, which is 0.1 seconds faster than the time reported by the Porsche.
